Scaling and Root Planing
At Carpenter Dental, regular check-ups and cleanings help us ensure that any oral health issues are detected early. We examine your teeth and gums for cavities and look for plaque and tartar. There are times that patients need more than a routine hygiene appointment called Scaling and Root Planing, this is due to bone loss and pocketing around the teeth. Our outstanding Hygiene team will discuss the need for a deeper cleaning if the need becomes present during your exam.
