Dr. Andrew Thorsen served 7 years in the United States Air Force before joining Carpenter Dental in 2018. After graduating from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2011, Dr. Thorsen completed a one-year AEGD residency in Anchorage, Alaska with the United States Air Force. He moved to Rapid City in 2014 where he served for another 4 years at Ellsworth AFB. Dr. Thorsen is committed to advancing his dental knowledge and skills through continuing education. He seeks out the very best training available so he’s able to provide his patients with the exceptional care and experience they deserve. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Dakota Dental Association, and actively involved in a local study club.
In his spare time, Dr. Thorsen enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, hunting and fishing, and has a special passion for competitive clay target shooting.
I have been going to carpenter dental for 10 years. Dr. Carpenter has always taken good care of me. He does great work and cater's to whatever his patient needs. Some might say he is a tooth artist.
